Amber’s workplace, the Green Building, is the first commercial building in Louisville, Kentucky to go for LEED platinum certification (the US Green Building Council’s designation of a sustainable building). When completed, it’ll house a café, art gallery, and event spaces. I took a few images from a private tour from Amber herself.

I loved the massive wooden support beams.

Personally, I’d be way more excited to come into work if my setup was like this.

Patagonian Fields at El Chalten

Due to the increasing popularity of Patagonia, El Chalten went from nonexistant to one of the most popular hiking towns in the country. Our visit occurred during the offseason, where half the town was already getting ready for the high season by building new homes and roads.

Cerro Torre, Patagonia
Wikipedia fact: “The top of the mountain often has a mushroom of rime ice, formed by the constant strong winds, increasing the difficulty of reaching the actual summit.” The first “undisputed” ascent up Cerro Torre was made by a team of Italians in 1974. It took them two months!
